3 pathways to participate next year!
For 2024-2025, we remain having three ways to join Robotics at Central High School!
Robotics Class
All Current Central Students can participate in the RoboLancers by applying for the robotics class during subject selection. The robotics class will provide a structured introduction to robotics including CAD, machining, java, and work on outreach projects to build their skills in the STEM world. Students will be on either RoboLancers Crimson or RoboLancers Gold and will participate in FTC.
FRC 427
Incoming freshmen and first-year FRC members will join RoboLancer’s newly formed sister team, LANCE-A-LOT. Members of this team will have the opportunity to get immediate hands-on experience with the robot, guided by direct mentor involvement. They will both build a competitive robot and work to support STEM within the community.
FRC 321
Returning members will join the world-championship winning FRC Team 321, the RoboLancers. The team will serve as a member of the FIRST Hall of Fame representing the work of the team while building robot. The teams strives to empower students through opportunities in STEM and leadership.
